Fashion influencer Israel Cassol is preparing to launch his first e-book “Androgyny – The man who wears skirts”. The Brazilian, who lives in London, will be in São Paulo next week to promote his new project.
Cassol recalled the controversial phrase said by Minister Damares Alves about girls wearing pink and boys wearing blue. “My goal is to show that just like wearing pink or blue clothes does not define sexuality, wearing a skirt also does not define masculinity”.
Israel is known for wearing clothing still considered feminine, such as skirts and puffed-sleeve shirts. The goal of launching the e-book is to show that there is no gender when it comes to fashion. “Genderless fashion is the trend of the 21st century. I am almost 40 years old and I have never felt so confident in my own skin as I do now “.
In his e-book, Israel Cassol will talk about fashion and androgyne. “We are in the 21st century, people no longer need this business of women in skirts and men in pants. Everyone can use whatever they want without suffering prejudice. People need to think outside the box ”, concludes the fashionist.
