Couples in intimate encounters illustrate French stylist’s collection campaign

If we know anything now, it is that Simon Porte Jacquemus is a selfless, romantic and shameless lover of love, says the website Dazed.

Often posting cute and sometimes silly pictures of her boyfriend on Instagram alongside captions stating “LOVE ALWAYS WINS”, the French gay stylist even made a naked young couple passionately hugging his stars (entirely undressed) on the beach campaign AW17.

Now, he is practicing his old tricks and clearly feeling the love, launching a new series of photos in celebration of his appropriately titled L’AMOUR collection. Captured by photographer Tom Kneller and stylized by Zoey Radford Scott, the images feature several couples from around the world in intimate encounters.

Seen kissing, caressing, looking into each other’s eyes with adoration, or otherwise boldly assuming a sensation, each is dressed (or half-dressed) in the oversized and sloppy tailoring of Jacquemus signature, fresh indigo denim and panties branded cotton.

Given that the lockdown has made our interactions very frequent with our delivery driver, for those who are single, the series serves as a reminder of the power and beauty of LOVE – as well as an opportune little push to perhaps think about downloading Tinder again. Or else, maybe not.
