“Lady Gaga and the philosophy of fame” is a course that debates gender and sexuality in the artist’s work

Philosopher and researcher Ali Prando is offering a course to analyze Lady Gaga‘s work debating gender and sexuality in the artist’s work and mixing it with works by scholars like Judith Butler, Helen Hester and Donna Haraway.

Classes will be online on Wednesdays and Fridays, on November 25 and 27, and on December 2 and 4, from 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm. The course costs R$100.00 and can be purchased through Sympla until November 25th.

Each class will address a topic, including:

• Meeting 2 – Don´t be a drag, Just be a queen (participation by Gouthier)
• Meeting 3 – The end of normal
• Meeting 4 – Experiments and creative constellations (participation by Getúlio Abelha)

In addition to Prando, the course will be attended by researcher and music journalist Gouthier, who is majoring in Fine Arts at Escola Guignard and Getúlio Abelha, singer and composer who is successful in the alternative scene.
