Pope appoints LGBT activist abused by priest to anti-pedophile commission

On this March 24, Pope Francis appointed LGBTQIA+ activist, Juan Carlos Cruz, to lead a commission against abuses committed by the clergy in the Vatican. Cruz says that his first accusations were discredited by the Catholic Church, but that Pope Francis did and would have said: “Juan Carlos, the fact that you are gay does not matter.
