In Cear\u00e1, the medicaments that fight HIV, like Lamivudina, Raltegravir and Etravirina, are in low stock. The Kaletra<\/strong>, made for kids with the virus, is lacking. With that, the users that need to get the medication for 90 days, are getting it only for 30. The information comes from G1<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Health Secretary of Cear\u00e1<\/strong> (SESA) informed, in a note to Verdes Mares System, that the prediction of Lamivudina and Raltegravir’s arrival is December 22nd. Etravina must arrive only in the first fortnight of January 2021. There’s still no prediction for Kaletra’s reposition.<\/p>\n

“We are really worried because, without the transfer, the thousand seropositive people that live in the state can lose control of the virus in their organism”<\/em> – says Vando Oliveira<\/strong>, Coordinator of the National Network of People Living with HIV\/AIDS – Cear\u00e1 (RNP+CE).<\/p>\n

Government suspends tests for HIV, AIDS and viral hepatitis by SUS<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The Ministry of Health<\/strong> published a note explaining that there was a suspension of sample collections for genotyping tests for HIV, AIDS and viral hepatitis by the Unified Health System (SUS).
