The SCRUFF<\/strong><\/a> app joins the fight for demystification, prevention, treatment and, mainly, clarification regarding the HIV\/AIDS universe. Together with partners such as Cultural Barong Institute<\/strong><\/a>, AHF Brasil<\/strong> \u2013 Aids Health Foundatin<\/strong><\/a>, UNAIDS Brasil<\/strong><\/a>, LGBTI+ Public Policy Coordination<\/strong><\/a> of the city of S\u00e3o Paulo and icons of the LGBTQIA+ cause, such as Heitor Werneck<\/a>.<\/p>\n

SCRUFF teams up with partners to demystify, prevent, test and clarify HIV<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Between November 25th and December 8th, Barong carries out actions allusive to the Red December<\/strong> and puts in the field its \u201cvan office\u201d, which will travel through various districts of the city of S\u00e3o Paulo, testing for STIs – HIV, viral hepatitis and syphilis -, distribution sexual health supplies such as condoms, lubricating gel, wet wipes and others, in addition to offering social and psychological support and printed materials such as educational booklets for the LGBTQIA+ population, focusing on transgender people and transvestites with gender variability.<\/p>\n

December 1st<\/strong> of this year brings an especially important milestone: 40 years since the first AIDS diagnosis in the world. On this day, the actions are concentrated in Largo do Arouche, where Heitor relaunches the campaign +Days -Aids +Liberdade,<\/strong> created in the 1990s, which includes mobile units of the City Hall that will provide health and psychological care, projection of photos in a building portraying the social, gender, age and ethnic diversity of our population, distribution of kits at fixed stations and on a traveling bicycle driven by the transvestite Miriam, from the Pela Vidda group. A live broadcasted on Facebook by the LGBTI+ Public Policy Coordination<\/a>, mediated by Werneck with the presence of references on the topic of HIV prevention and those responsible for public and private policies for people living with HIV, of different profiles, completes the program and the campaign also foresees the production of other correlated content, shared on partner channels during the month.<\/p>\n
