In 2021<\/a>, the city of Tel Aviv<\/strong>, on the Israeli coast of the Mediterranean Sea, managed to return the in person version of the traditional LGBTQIA+ Pride Parade<\/strong> after the country advanced with high vaccination rates, receiving more than one hundred thousand tourists from around the world.<\/p>\n

For this year, the Israel Ministry of Tourism<\/strong>, which has an office in Brazil<\/a>, confirms the event for Friday, June 10<\/strong>, and announces that it expects to receive a greater amount of Brazilian tourists.<\/p>\n

Under the theme \u201cBack to Pride\u201d<\/strong> the Pride<\/em> will begin on Rokach Boulevard<\/strong> near Sportek and continue to Ganei Yehoshua Park<\/strong><\/a>, where the main stage will be set up to host a variety of attractions and shows.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Tel Aviv-Yafo Pride events are a long-standing tradition, centered on a message of equality and acceptance. Tel Aviv-Yafo represents a welcoming home for all communities residing here and is proud to be an innovative city in its approach to the LGBTQIA+ community, as well as serving as a source of inspiration for the whole world. This year, more than ever, we will celebrate together, march together and fight together for equality\u201d, <\/em>says Ron Huldai<\/strong>, mayor of Tel Aviv-Yafo.<\/p>\n

PROGRAMMING<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The official Pride celebrations in Israel<\/strong> begin on May 20 with Dragovision<\/strong><\/a>, a \u201cdragged\u201d version of the Eurovision<\/strong><\/a> music festival. Throughout the month, a series of events will be held in support of the community, along with informative conversations with LGBTQIA+ youth who enlist in the army. There is also a picnic<\/a>, women-only raves, a gay ballad for the elderly<\/a>, the presence of drag queens like Bianca Del Rio<\/strong> and Chelseaboy<\/strong> and a greater schedule in the city’s clubs and bars.<\/p>\n
