Last week, the American media company Gannett<\/strong>, headquartered in Tysons Corner,<\/strong> Virginia<\/strong>, announced that it is looking for two reporters: one to cover stories related to singer Beyonc\u00e9<\/b><\/a> at USA Today<\/strong><\/a> and the other to inform readers of The Tennessean<\/strong><\/a> about Taylor Swift<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

The company expressed its interest in professionals with at least five years of experience in digital journalism, with a “clear and concise writing style” and a “deep understanding of metrics and how to use data to understand audience behavior and inform coverage decisions”, capable of capturing “not just the music, but the meaning and the growing legacy of both artists and the impact they have on the global music scene”.<\/p>\n

The future hires must be available for international travel and willing to live in the United States, even if the position is “home office” based. The compensation for the full-time position ranges from $21.63<\/strong> to $50.87<\/strong> per hour worked<\/strong>, approximately R$ 105 to R$ 247<\/strong> at the current dollar exchange rate.<\/p>\n

Kristin Roberts, Gannett’s Chief Content Officer, emphasized the company’s commitment to providing readers with quality content, stating that Taylor Swift is shaping a generation and is a relevant, influential, and innovative figure. She mentioned that covering the artist is essential to meet readers’ expectations.<\/p>\n
