Canadian singer Alanis Morissette (49)<\/strong> released a four-track Christmas EP<\/strong> this Friday, the 3rd. The compilation features a cover of George Michael’s<\/strong><\/a> song “Last Christmas”<\/em> from WHAM!’s<\/strong><\/a> album, which, according to Alanis, marked a significant part of her childhood.<\/p>\n

In an Instagram post, the artist shared her joy of covering one of her favorite artists and announced the digital availability of the EP<\/a>, along with a limited edition in red<\/a> or green<\/a> vinyl for 25 dollars (approximately R$ 122.52).<\/p>\n

“The festive season is slowly emerging… I’ve covered a singer I admire the most, one of my all-time favorite voices… George Michael. This festive ‘WHAM!’ song was a part of my childhood. ‘Last Christmas’ is an EP with my favorite Christmas songs and it’s available digitally on all streaming platforms. Vinyl pre-order is available in a limited edition in red or green”<\/em>, the singer wrote.<\/p>\n

In addition to “Last Christmas”<\/strong><\/a>, which gives its name to the EP, the album includes the songs “Happy Xmas (War is Over)”<\/strong><\/a>, by John Lennon, “Little Drummer Boy”<\/strong><\/a>, and “What Child is This?”<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n
