The Brazilian film “Baby<\/strong><\/em>“, directed by Marcelo Caetano<\/strong><\/a>, was selected for the competitive showcase at the Lima Film Festival<\/strong><\/a> and is also competing for the Sebastiane Latino Award<\/strong><\/em> at the San Sebasti\u00e1n Film Festival<\/strong> in Spain<\/a><\/strong>. The feature film’s debut in Latin America<\/strong><\/a> will take place on August 8, during the Peruvian festival, which has previously celebrated productions such as “Bacurau<\/strong><\/em><\/a>” and “A Febre<\/strong><\/em>“.<\/p>\n

Feature film explores the relationship between a former inmate and a male escort<\/h3>\n

The film tells the story of Wellington, played by Jo\u00e3o Pedro Mariano<\/strong>, a young man who, after leaving a detention center<\/strong>, is taken in by Ronaldo, a male escort portrayed by Ricardo Teodoro<\/strong>. The plot explores the relationship between the characters and addresses themes such as exploitation, protection, and jealousy, as Wellington seeks to find himself within a new family formed by Ronaldo, his ex-wife Priscila (Ana Flavia Cavalcanti<\/strong>), and his partner Jana\u00edna (Bruna Linzmeyer<\/strong>).<\/p>\n
