Ben & Jerry’s launched a protest against the same-sex marriage prohibition in Australia by imposing its own prohibition: the ice cream chain won’t serve two scoops of the same flavor together anymore.

The announcement was made on Twitter, where the brand reminded Australians that if they are angry for not being able to choose to have two scoops of the same flavor, they should remember that other people still can’t choose to marry the person they love.
