Intitulado de Sons Of An Illustrious Father, o projeto musical de Ezra Miller, Lilah Larson e Josh Aubin divulgou um cover (com clipe!) de “Don’t Cha”, das Pussycat Dolls.
“A inspiração para esse cover veio quando Ezra e eu estávamos dançando em uma festa estranha em Nashville em uma turnê. Era claramente a melhor coisa que acontecia na cidade naquela noite e, portanto, estava sendo infiltrada por casais ostensivamente heterossexuais, que estavam meio que desconfortavelmente olhando para os excêntricos queers – incluindo nós – de uma forma que desmentia sua inveja e luxúria. A música começou a tocar e Ezra e eu, em um momento típico de conexão psíquica, olhamos um para o outro e concordamos que a faixa, cantada de nossa perspectiva, encapsularia perfeitamente essa experiência comum”, conta Lilah Larson.
O trio está em turnê neste verão, abrindo a apresentação de Priests. O clipe foi dirigido por Rafe Scobey-Thal e coreografado por Bobbi Jene Smith. Ele também possui Or Schraiber, Leal Zielinska, Mouna Soualem, Kris Lee e Quinn Dixon.
