As International Pride Month approaches, Curaçao is gearing up for an exhilarating Pre-Pride Celebration from June 8th to June 11th, 2023. This prelude to the highly anticipated Pride Curaçao, which will take place from October 1st to October 15th. The Pre-Pride promises to be a jubilant extravaganza honoring diversity, unity, and love.
Pride Curaçao is an annual event that serves as a beacon of acceptance and inclusivity, celebrating the LGBTQ+ community and promoting equality for all individuals, regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity.
Throughout the Pre-Pride Celebration, attendees and the community will be encouraged to show their support for the LGBTQ+ community and promote the values of acceptance and love. By joining the activities and participating in the celebration, individuals will make a meaningful contribution towards fostering a more inclusive and understanding society. This inclusive celebration offers an opportunity for locals and visitors alike to come together, celebrate their unique identities, and amplify the message of love and acceptance.The Pride schedule is packed with four days of exciting activities. It all begins on Thursday with a mix and mingle event at Sweet Sin Curacao, where attendees can come together and socialize in a welcoming atmosphere. On Friday, there’s Tigerpuss, an all-in-pink party at Gaze Curaçao, promising a night filled with vibrant energy and celebration. Saturday takes center stage with the main event, Freskura, the ultimate LGBTQ+ party, bringing together a diverse community to dance, express themselves, and embrace their true identities. Finally, on Sunday, the festivities conclude with the Drag Brunch at De Broeders, a delightful combination of fabulous performances and delicious food, creating a perfect ending to the vibrant Pride experience.
