The actor Kleber Alvarenga, the actor, known for appearing in several gay porn films, was admitted on the 18th to undergo treatment for his chemical dependency. The information was shared on social media by Kleber’s mother, Sayonara Matta, and by Pedro Pampelo, the actor’s ex-boyfriend and close friend.

Through an open letter, Sayonara expressed her gratitude for the support and affection that her son has been receiving from fans and friends. She shared her pain as a mother but also the difficult decision she made in pursuit of Kleber’s recovery.

“His hospitalization was involuntary because it was something beyond my control. If I hadn’t done it, I would never have my son back. He was having a lot of breakdowns due to continuous substance use. It’s a struggle every day, but in the end, we are overcoming it with a lot of faith and strength”, she wrote.

On his part, Pedro Pampelo clarified in his contribution to the post that the open letter was not about him, but rather a joint effort to support Kleber on his recovery journey.

“I helped only Kleber’s mother, for him and for her, both of whom I love deeply and consider part of my family. I have always nurtured, regardless of being together or not, the love and respect for our friendship above all else”, he clarified.
