Tel Aviv opens center for LGBT+ families

The municipality of Tel Aviv is known for welcoming and promoting tolerance, acceptance and diversity since childhood in the educational institutions of the city; and everything leads us to believe that values are not only in speech.

Tel Aviv’s LGBT+ Center, which has been operating since 2008, has opened a space that provides help to lgbt+ families in the city and addresses various aspects of community family life.

The family center offers a social support environment in significant chapters of life, ranging from exploring options to have children and their upbringing, relationship development and even family day-to-day life through workshops, activities and events. Connections opportunities, support groups for parents with trans children, couples and family therapies, activities for children and legal counseling are also offered.

Tel Aviv’s LGBT+ Center was the first of its kind to be established by a municipality and is one of the main organizers of tel Aviv’s LGBT+ Parade, one of the most important in the world and which will take place on June 12, 2020, with an expectation of 250,000 people.
