iBest releases the list of the top 10 LGBTQIA+ content creators in Brazil for 2022

With 87 categories, the iBest Award announced on this Tuesday, July 12, the “Top 10 LGBTQIA+” and “Top 10 Diversity and Inclusion” for its 2022 edition. The selection, according to the company, is done through prior public voting and with the support of their own algorithm called IRD, which quantifies and compares the digital relevance of each initiative across all major social media platforms, websites, and apps.

The 2022 awardees in the “LGBTQIA+” category, in alphabetical order, are:

– Lorelay Fox
– Mandy Candy
– Pepita
– Põe Na Roda
– Samira Close
– Tempero Drag
– Thiessa Woinbackk

In the “Diversity and Inclusion” category, also in alphabetical order:

– Fernando Fernandes
– Gabi Oliveira
– Histórias de Cego
– Isflocos
– Lívia Zaruty
– Mariam Chami
– Nátaly Neri
– Paola Antonini
– Pequena Lo

For Marcos Wettreich, CEO of iBest, the award also serves as a compass for the market by indicating the direction and interests of Brazilians. “The iBest serves as a digital certification for the best in the country, which is especially important in a transitional moment like the present, where very relevant issues are being widely discussed, and there are clear advancements that need more space and amplification, as in matters related to Diversity and LGBTQIA+. The quality and significance of the finalists indicate that we are on the right path towards the evolution of society into a more equal and transparent world, although much still needs to be done”, said Wettreich.

Starting from the iBest TOP 10 Phase, two parallel voting processes will be conducted – one based on popular perception and the other through a panel of experts (the iBest Academy). The top three initiatives will advance to the iBest TOP 3 Phase, where they can compete for the title of Best in Brazil by the Popular Jury and/or the iBest Academy Jury.

IRD ALGORITIM

The IRD is a proprietary algorithm developed by iBest Global that comprises indices for quantifying relevance within the digital universe. The IRD numerically assesses the relevance of a digital initiative, taking into account metrics such as reach and engagement, content depth or variety, growth, and significance of the initiative.
