A person was assaulted by a woman in a homophobic attack in a traditional bakery in the district of Pompéia, west of São Paulo. Videos circulating on social networks show the incident, at the Dona Deôla bakery, when the woman offends, slaps and throws objects at her. The information is from UOL.
The case happened on Friday (20). In one of the homophobic lines, the woman tells an employee, who was trying to calm the situation: “I’m not fucking talking. Is this a gay bakery?”
She is still seen slapping the victim, trying to grab her by the hair. According to the press office of the bakery Dona Deôla, the case started with a client identified as Lidiane Biezok arrived on the scene, apparently altered, and abused employees and threw objects on the floor. Two people, Kleiton and Boni – who is seen in the video – tried to intervene in the situation and started to be attacked.
Also according to the press office, the manager called the police, who arrived minutes later, referring those involved to the police station, where police reports were recorded by officials and the pair who were victims of the homophobic attack.
The bakery said it repudiated and regretted the act and said it had made itself available to the victims for the development of the case.
