Choreographer creates challenge on social media with the song ‘Short Dick Man’

Recently, a wave of nostalgia has taken over Brazilian social media as digital influencers reminisce about iconic moments from Brazilian television in the 1980s and 1990s. Among these moments, one standout is a performance by the American band “20 Fingers” which, in today’s context, would likely be considered inappropriate for daytime television.

The memory that resurfaced on social media, especially on TikTok and Instagram, was through the europop group’s performance on Xuxa’s show, where the members sang the controversial chorus “Don’t want no short dick man”(In a free translation: “Eu não quero homem com pênis pequeno”).

To join in on the fun, choreographer Robson Mano, currently known for his work with singer Claudia Leitte, created a “trend”, a sort of challenge, for social media users.

The teacher, who also stood out as a dancer on Sandy & Junior’s 2019 tour and participated in the Show dos Famosos 2021 ballet on Rede Globo, was recently invited to be the choreographer for the group Br’oz on their new commemorative 20-year career tour.
