The Apple updated the terms and conditions for developers in June and, in the section on what “was not allowed”, paragraph 1.1.4, they stated that “pornographic or very sexual material, such as descriptions or displays of sexual organs or activities that stimulate eroticization more than aesthetics or emotional feelings”.

Many understood that this new Apple norm would make room for banning dating apps like Scruff and Grindr, considering that it’s common for people to inbox “nudes” of these apps, something possible even on social networks like Instagram and Twitter. However, in a conversation with AppleInsider, a representative for the company founded by Steve Jobs said the goal is to “stop the proliferation of apps that aren’t dating platforms.”
“Apple makes it clear that casual dating apps like Grindr or Scruff, which have been operating legitimately on the App Store for years, will not be impacted by the 1.1.4 guides” – the rep said – “The company makes it clear that there is no prohibition on dating preferences within Apple’s policies.”

Apple Watch gets two themed wristbands to celebrate LGBT+ Pride
Apple has released two commemorative bracelets for its “Apple Watch” in honor of Pride Month, which is celebrated in June. One with the colors of the rainbow and the other braided with different colors to expand the representation even more.. The information is from Yahoo Finance.
One of the straps is in the shape popularized in the Apple Watch Series 6, without the need for a buckle and made from a braided elastic material. “The new Braided Solo Loop represents the breadth of LGBTQ+ communities and experiences,” the company said.
“On many fronts, Apple supports the ongoing and unfinished work of equality for diverse and cross-industry communities and we want to provide every opportunity to celebrate and honor this history during Pride season,” said Apple CEO Tim Cook of the commemorative bracelets for the Apple Watch.
The company also says it “is proud to build on its long-standing financial support for LGBTQ+ advocacy organizations working to bring about positive change, including Encircle, Equality North Carolina, Equality Texas, Gender Spectrum, GLSEN, Human Rights Campaign, National Center for Transgender Equality, PFLAG National, SMYAL and The Trevor Project in the US, as well as ILGA World internationally”.
