Lady Gaga, Beyoncé and Taylor Swift took their electoral cord costumes out of the closet to convince US voters to go to the polls this Tuesday (3) – voting is not mandatory there.
Gaga spoke on Joe Biden’s podium on Monday night (2). He sang “Shalow” and asked for votes. On social media, she revisited some of her most memorable looks – from her “Just Dance” days to the Super Bowl, from Joanne to A Star Is Born – for a new video asking to participate in the 2020 vote, says the website Advocate.
After thanking those who already voted, Gaga addressed those “who do not have a plan to vote, are undecided, people who are not sure if they really believe in voting”.
“Regardless of how you feel about the candidates, we should all be ‘responsible'”, said Gaga. “If you want to change this system, if you want this country to be different than it is now, you have to participate in this election ”.

Taylor Swift and Beyoncé have just become the last in a long list of celebrities who advocate that Americans vote, says Variety magazine
On Monday (2), with one day left for the 2020 presidential election, the two artists turned to social media to connect fans to important information for the voter. Both also notably shared their support for Democratic candidates, Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.
In Swift’s Twitter video, the singer acknowledged that US voters were probably inundated with messages to get their ballot. “Allow me to be the millionth person to remind you that tomorrow is your last chance to make your voice heard and your vote count, so if you haven’t voted yet, please“, she says in the clip.

Beyoncé made two Instagram posts related to the election, including one where she can be seen wearing a Biden / Harris mask. The other is an image that says: “The most important fall is in the ballot box” and has the word “vote” written several times on the edges.
