Iggy Azalea, Bianca Del Rio and Chelseaboy are confirmed at the Tel Aviv Gay Parade 2022

The activities of the long-awaited Pride Month have already begun in Tel Aviv, Israel, with rainbow flags installed around the city and extensive programming beyond the Parade, which will take place on June 10. Parties, exhibitions, presentations and educational programs take place throughout the city, including a picnic, women-only raves, gay ballads for seniors and the presence of drag queens such as Bianca Del Rio and Chelseaboy.

“Tel Aviv-Yafo is home to all minority groups residing here and we will continue to march with the LGBTQ+ community for equal rights. Pride Events in Tel Aviv-Yafo are a long-standing tradition centered on messages of equality and acceptance. Over the years, the city community has managed to change its reality to become a strong, unique and integral part of society. The culture of diversity has developed many traditions over the years, and this will be reflected in this year’s Pride events, which will symbolize the “Return to Pride” [tema da Parada de 2022] and allow hundreds of thousands of LGBTs to participate in a demonstration of tolerance, inclusion, diversity and acceptance of each other”, says Ron Huldai, mayor of Tel Aviv.

To welcome LGBTQIA+ visitors from around the world, Brut by Brown has become the official Pride of Tel Aviv 2022 hotel and Autotel has painted its fleet of cars to be rented in rainbow colors. Hilton Beach, also known as “Pride Beach,” added giant signs and renewed its colorful umbrellas to ensure a little shade during its famous parties.

ATTRACTIONS

On Friday, 10, there will be two main stages at the closing party of the Parade. The “Pride” stage will include performances by Eurovision semifinalist Michael Ben David and renowned local artists such as Yasmin Moallem, Harel Skaat, Zehava Ben, Raviv Kaner, Nasrin Kadri, Valerie Hamati and many others. The “Love” stage, in partnership with Rapyd, will feature internationally known DJs and, for the first time in Israel, an exclusive performance by Australian rapper Iggy Azalea.

ABOUT BRUT BY BROWN HOTEL

Brown Brut is a boutique hotel located next to the Tel Aviv boardwalk, between the Neve Tzedek district and the beach. The hotel is situated in Gaon House, an office building built in the late 1970s. When it became a boutique hotel, the structure underwent an urban renewal process.
