The actor Nico Tortorella (32), best known from “The Walking Dead: World Beyond”, gave an interview to Attitude in which he openly talked about several subjects, including the taboo on anal sex, especially regarding bottoms.
“I think that’s just a problem with the anus in general, and deeming certain body parts as dirty or filthy.” – he said – “I think that is a deep-rooted issue with the body in general, whether you’re male-bodied or female-bodied. But I think specifically for men to be put in this “sub-position” is not masculine, when anyone who’s bottomed ever knows you need to man the f*** up to get the job done. So I don’t think there’s anything more masculine than bottoming, let’s be honest”
He is also a polyamorous person. Currently, he is married since 2018 to Bethany C. Meyers, with whom he had a relationship since 2007. Despite that, he also has a boyfriend with whom he is in a relationship for about 20 years.
” I have a partner in LA that I’ve had for a long time, but I’m not his only partner; he’s not my only partner” – he said – “I think both of those words, queer and polyamorous, are heavily weighted, and they mean different things to different people. And what they mean to us works for us. And sometimes it doesn’t.”
Tortorella said in 2016, in an interview to The New York Post and to Vulture, that his sexuality as well as his gender are fluid, and he also started to use gender neutral pronouns to refer to himself.
It’s worth mentioning that Bethany C. Meyers is an LGBTQIA+ activist, as well as an entrepreneur and a fitness activist, giving tips to people about how to be a healthy person and fighting disorders such as bulimia and anorexia. She also uses gender neutral pronouns to refer to herself and considers herself to have fluid gender and sexuality.
