Rodrigo Massa was born in São Bernardo do Campo, Brazil. At the age of 20, after studying four semesters of Letters at the University of São Paulo, he decided to abandon his studies and his work as a language teacher to move to Mexico and try his luck in the world of entertainment.

His artistic career began in 2007, when he made his first television commercials. Today, ten years later, he has run more than 200 advertising campaigns in Mexico, El Salvador, Honduras, Guatemala, Uruguay and the United States, making him one of the most sought after faces in Latin American advertising. He was a semifinalist on “Latin American Idol” (Sony Entertainment Television) and “Idols“(TV Record Brasil). In 2009, he recorded the CD” The Origin Of Sound “with the group OM, with which he performed several shows throughout the Mexican Republic where the singles “I will cry for you” and “Losing the reason” were promoted. And in 2011 he released his first CD as a soloist, “Unique”, promoting his first single “All is love” on a tour through Central America.
Among his most important projects as an actor we can mention “The Color of Passion” (Televisa 2014), in which he highlighted his performance as Amador Zúñiga. The soap opera had a strong international presence being broadcast in more than 50 countries. In “No refunds” (2013), the most successful film in the history of Mexican cinema with more than 60 million dollars, Rodrigo obtained the role of an FBI agent who investigates the disappearance of the protagonists Maggie and Valentin. And in the series “A bad date” (Blim Televisa 2016) Rodrigo gives life to Omar Santiago, a two-faced character who deceives and destroys Laya’s heart (Ximena Sariñana).
Rodrigo was also known in Mexico due to his appearance as a presenter, commanding programs such as the children’s 1 2 3 Clic (Televisa), the sports Tú Diriges (Televisa), the reality Méxica Diseña (And! Entertainment Television), the variety and lifestyle program Zona Trendy (And! Entertainment Television) and the music and interview programs México Suena (Televisa) and Latin Stage (Ritmoson). He also starred in some of the most important musicals in the country, such as Verdad o Reto, Ayolante and Lies. The latter has been playing at the Teatro Manolo Fábregas for almost ten consecutive years.
With a solid and ascending career, Rodrigo Massa has already positioned himself as one of the most successful artists on Mexican television.
